Crop Over: A Short History.
Bajans and visitors alike count down each year to the highly anticipated Crop Over Festival. This celebration of the culture and history of Barbados uses music, dance, food and arts to simply celebrate life! Crop Over dates back to 1687, during the plantation days. Historically Crop Over celebrated the end of the harvest season as the name suggests. Today it is a time for Bajans to let loose and enjoy life to the fullest.
