For a small island, Barbados packs a big punch when it comes to destination wedding locations. Here are just a few of the reasons why Barbados should be your top pick for a destination wedding of your dreams!
Getting there is easy
The Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados is a major hub and gateway for the Eastern Caribbean. Direct flights are available from the US, UK, Canada, Central America, and Europe. This makes it easier for you and your guests to arrive without the stress and hassle of multiple connections.
Outdoor weddings all year round
If you’re coming from a colder country you know about the mad rush of the wedding season, where it seems like the whole world is trying to fit their special day into the four short months of summer. In Barbados the weather is fairly constant year round – between 26-30 degrees. This opens endless possibilities for wedding dates! We’re sure your guests wouldn’t mind escaping the cold too.
Beauty is everywhere you look
Imagine luscious greens and bright blues as the backdrop of your pictures and memories of this precious moment. Whether you are looking for a beach, boat, church or garden wedding Barbados has the venue for you. Our personal favourite venue is on a white sandy beach under coconut trees right at sunset.
Your day can be invigorated with some Caribbean flavour. Barbados is known for great music, dancing and for inventing rum, let the island bring some carefree fun into wedding trip. The vibes are contagious and the people welcoming.
